Does buying
a tennis racket
make you
a tennis pro?

No, it does not.

And neither does buying a CGM make you proficient at managing your glucose levels.

So join one of my CGM programmes and learn how to "stay within the lines" with your glucose levels.

"The secret of getting ahead, is getting started..." Mark Twain
...but sometimes it is hard to know where to start with so much (conflicting) information out there and that is where I can help.

CGM Group Programmes

As mentioned before, I am not a diabetes specialist, but I focus on helping people prevent developing (pre)diabetes and metabolic syndrome. This is where the power of the CGM lies, because Diabetes takes years, even decades, to develop and by discovering imbalances in glucose and insulin levels early on, chronic disease can be prevented and even reversed.

The different programmes are designed to give you the support you need for the stage you are at. If you have never worn a CGM, the 3 week Discovery programme will help you get started (which sensor to buy and where to buy it etc) and explore what a CGM can do for you. This programme is more about observing and learning how your body responds to the food you normally eat and the lifestyle choices you make, without necessary making a lot of changes (although you will discover that at some point it might feel "wrong" to keep eating something you know makes your glucose go sky high.) After wearing a sensor for 2 weeks and possibly having discovered that your glucose levels are not ideal, you might like to learn more about how to get off the "Glucose Roller coaster" and what food & lifestyle changes might help achieve this. The 4 week Glucose Mastery Programme will do exactly that. It will do a deep dive into all the things that influence you glucose levels, like food & drinks, sleep, stress and exercise. As you will discover 4 weeks will fly by and you will probably feel like you are just at the beginning of a live changing journey, so if you would like to stay connected and have access to monthly educational and Q&A sessions, you can choose to join the membership for as little as £15 per month.

In 2024 I will launch 2 new programmes, CGM for Weight loss programme and CGM for Menopause. They will both be longer and intend to create a supportive community.

High glucose levels and weight gain are very much interlinked and by learning how to balance your glucose levels, you will invariably learn how to loose weight in a safe way. Weight gain in not caused by "an imbalance of calories", so the classic "eat less and move more" is not the answer. It is caused by an imbalance in hormones, especially insulin which in turn is closely linked with Glucose and that is the reason a CGM can be a powerful ally and teacher in achieving your desired weight.

If you are not a "group" person and would prefer to work with me one on one, you can book individual sessions with me too.

and benefit from it's preventative power"

If you have never tried a CGM and would like to learn the basics of how to put it on, connect to the right software, how often to scan, what to log and what glucose does in the body...then this programme is for you.

3 Weeks. It is short but sweet, just enough time to sort out the tech part before wearing a sensor for 14 days.

Launch: April 2024!

If you have worn a CGM before or have done my Discovery Programme and would like to do a deep dive into how to manage your glucose levels, then this programme is for you. It will explore all the variables that have an impact on your glucose levels (nope, it is not just what you eat) and you will learn what works best for YOUR body.

The time running up to menopause, peri-menopause, is often marked by turbulent hormones and blood glucose imbalances can play a big role in aggravating the symptoms that accompany these fluctuations. This programme will take a deep dive into all things Menopause.

Duration to be determined

Weight loss is not about "calories in versus calories out" and the "eat less and move more" advice has now been proven to not work. Learn in this programme how high insulin is the root cause of chronic weight gain and learn how to slowly bring it down, reducing your weight in the process.

3-6 months

"Weight loss is NOT about calories in vs calories out! Or about eat less, move more!
It is about balancing hormones, with insulin being a key player...and glucose being it's main side kick."
